이웰갤러리는 현대 미술을 중심으로 한 기획 전시와 다양한 미술 강연 프로그램을 통해동시대 예술의 흐름과 가치를 탐구하며, 예술과 관객을 연결하는 문화 플랫폼으로 기능하고자 한다. 동시대 미술의 담론을 반영한 전시를 정기적으로 선보이는 한편, 활동 지역과 장르의 경계를 넘어 주목할 만한 작가를 발굴·재조명하며 미술 생태계의 지속 가능한 성장을 도모한다. 본 전시는 무빙 이미지, 미디어 조각, 포스트-디지털 설치가 상호 촉발하고 파생되며 현대 신화적 서사를 직조해내는 뉴미디어아트 전시이다. 참여 작가들은 보이지 않거나 이미 사라진 것들—소거된 감각, 지워진 좌표의 잔상, 기술의 심연—을 현재의 감각 안으로 호출한다. 각자의 출발점은 다르지만 그들은 항만과 이주, 노동과 관광의 리듬이 중층적으로 퇴적된 루프랩부산이라는 플랫폼과 만나며 예기치 않은 공명을 일으킨다. 이질적인 결들이 교차하는 이 도시의 유동하는 에너지 위에서, 각 작업은 동시대적 신화의 새로운 지층을 구축하고 인간과 비인간, 기술과 생태가 깊이 얽힌 미래적 서사로 전환된다. 이 서사는 관람자를 일상의 경계 너머 '신화 이후'의 세계로 이끈다.

Ewell Gallery is dedicated to spotlighting Busan-based artists and supporting emerging talent, offering a rich artistic experience through programs such as art lectures and artist talks. This exhibition, Hertz: After the Myth, brings together moving image, media sculpture, and post-digital installation, where works actively interact and generate one another to form a contemporary mythic narrative. The participating artists draw attention to what is unseen or has already disappeared—erased sensations, fading coordinates, and the deeper layers of technological systems—bringing them back into present experience. While each artist begins from a different point, their works encounter Loop Lab Busan, a site shaped by overlapping histories of port activity, migration, labour, and tourism, producing unexpected resonances. Set within the city’s shifting and layered energies, the exhibition traces how these diverse elements intersect. Each work contributes to the formation of a new contemporary mythology, unfolding into a speculative narrative where human and non-human, technology and ecology, are closely intertwined. In doing so, the exhibition invites viewers to move beyond the boundaries of the everyday and to imagine a world that emerges after myth.
